China China's Diplomacy Encyclopedia Published

An encyclopedia on China's diplomatic affairs from ancient to modern times was recently published. The encyclopedia, with Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan as chief editor, is a collection of ancient Chinese diplomacy before the Qin Dynasty (221 B.C. to 207 B.C.) and contemporary diplomacy.

It covers diplomatic theories, policies, events, literature, figures and organizations in more than 3,000 entries.

People involved in producing the encyclopedia are researchers of international relations, scholars from institutions of higher learning, leading officials of the Foreign Ministry, and Chinese diplomatic envoys.

The book will be available nationwide in mid-January.
