China Enters Semi-finals in World Table Tennis Championship

The Chinese Women's team on Feb 23 successfully entered into the semi-finals of the women's World Team Table Tennis Championship by edging out Hong Kong 3-0.

It repeated what happened in the last women's World Team Table Tennis Championship: China entered the semi-finals by eliminating HK 3:0.

The Hong Kong team formed of new athletes is obviously in no way to match with China in Strength. Wan Nan beat Sang Yachan 2:0 (21:17, 21:14), Li Ju defeated Wang Jing 2:0 (21:9, 21:10) and Zhang Yining outplayed Guo Fangfang 2:1(12:21, 21:10 and 21:12).

Following are the results of the other three rounds of matches on the same day: South Korea beat Japan 3:1, China Taipei toped Germany 3:1 and Romania eliminated Singapore 3:1.

The formation of the two round semi-finals of the women's World Team Table Tennis Championship on Feb 24 is: China Vs South Korea and Romania Vs China Taipei.
