China, Malaysia Finalize WTO Technical-level Talks

China and Malaysia finalized their technical-level negotiations on China's entry to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Thursday, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) announced on March 17 in Beijing.

Trade officials of the two countries held the technical-level negotiations on China's entry to the WTO Wednesday and Thursday, said the ministry.

The Malaysian side will submit the results of the negotiations to its government for approval, after which the two sides will officially sign the agreement.
