87th China Export Commodities Fair Goes Online

The 87th China Export Commodities Fair will be brought to the Internet at a new website address: eastran.com.

The China Export Commodities Fair is a biannual event held in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province. Each fair lasts for 15 days, and the 87th fair will open on April 15.

Information from the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation explains that the on-line service will facilitate companies that can not attend the fair to take part via the 'net.

In addition to presenting general information about the fair, the bureau will open a great number of specialized markets and exhibitions on-line in cooperation with localities that produce particular commodities of the best quality.

By now, many import and export companies from across the country, as well as overseas commercial organizations in Guangzhou representing countries including the United States, Germany, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Italy have registered to open on-line booths under the specially opened website address.

A record of over 12.7 billion U.S. dollars worth of export deals were concluded at the 86th China Export Commodities Fair held last autumn.
