China to host int'l forum on ecology, environmental protection
China will host an international forum on ecology and environmental protection in the port city of Qingdao, in east China's Shandong Province, on April 27-28.
The forum is being organized according to the proposals of environmental protection officials, financial experts and entrepreneurs from developed countries.
High-ranking officials from Germany, Luxembourg, the United States, Britain, Brazil, China and international organizations, as well as world-famous environmental experts and representatives of environmental protection enterprises are expected to attend the forum and will focus on discussing how to effect a harmonious development of economy, society and the environmental protection industry.
They will also talk about issues such as information and resource sharing in the field of ecological environment and related industries, rational development and use of resources and ecological environmental protection, and cooperation between enterprises.
