Air China to Train Pilots from Israel

Since China and Israel established diplomat ties in 1992, exchanges at a government level and between enterprises of the two countries have greatly increased. Cooperation between Air China and Air Israel gives a very good example of friendship between the two countries. Pilots from Air Israel are now receiving training in the flying center of Air China.

Air Israel, an aviation company with a history of more than 50 years of operation in Israel, has been run with many modern long-distance large airliners.

Beijing-Tel Aviv formally opened flight in 1993 according to a government flight agreement between the two countries. Air Israel highly praised Air China's high-level flight training facilities and safe management experience in its 7-year cooperation with Air China. Since Air Israel sent pilots to China to receive B737-800 airplane training from November 1999, Air China has spared no effort to fulfill its task for training Israeli pilots. Air China will help train Israeli pilots on the country's B767-300 and B747-400 planes this year.

Training pilots for foreign countries is a very important step for Air China's access to world market. This also provides opportune chance for China to learn from international advanced experience and develop its aviation in accord with international practices.
