He noted that the friendly cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields have been developing smoothly since Kazakstan became an independent country, adding that the relations between the two armed forces have also experienced steady development.

He briefed the guests on China's military building and reiterated the Chinese government's consistent position on the Taiwan issue.

He said that the PLA is determined to safeguard state sovereignty and territorial integrity with confidence, capability and effective means.

The PLA will never tolerate and sit idly by and watch any attempt to split the motherland, Fu stressed.

Tokpakbayev said that the two-way high-level contacts in recent years have laid a solid foundation for the development of friendly ties between the two countries. He said that he hopes the two countries will continue to develop friendly cooperation in various fields.

He pointed out that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China and that the Kazakstan government adheres to the "One China" position.
