Chief of the MWEB entered the homepage of People's Daily Online when he told that some news releases via the network have been supplied by People's Daily. Shown clearly on People's Daily Online screen were news and pictures of visiting President Jiang. President Jiang showed strong interest, pointing at a picture, "Oh, it's Mbeki."

When leaving MIH's headquarters, President Jiang left his words in a book for distinguished guests. At the gate, beautiful songs were heard from native singers praising the profound friendship between the two peoples of South Africa and China.
