China to Set up First Share-holding Feeder Airline

China's first share-holding feeder airline is expected to be established in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province, in a bid to comply with Chinese Government's policy of development China's western regions.

Sichuan Airlines owns most of the shares, but welcomes private firms to join. Some firms both from home and abroad have expressed interest to join.

An official of the Sichuan Airlines revealed that the new firm expects to introduce 20 airplanes in the next three years, buying 10 MA60s, a new feeder liner made in China, five ERJ-145 regional jet planes, as well as leasing five dash-8 airplane.
