2,300-Year-Old Tomb Unearthed in HunanChinese archaeologists have unearthed a well-preserved tomb believed to be 2,300 years old at Wushi Township of Pingjiang County, in central China's Hunan Province.The tomb, three meters long and two meters wide, is so far the most intact tomb of Warring States (475-221 B.C.) ever discovered in Hunan. Also uncovered were two bronze swords, a wooden sword, eight clay pots and a number of other articles. Experts believed that the occupant was an official and there might be other tombs nearby which belong to the occupant's relatives. |
