Intl. Forum on China E-Commerce in Guangzhou

An international forum on China's e-commerce sector opened today in this capital of Guangdong Province.

Dozens of officials, experts, and entrepreneurs from China, the United States, and Japan are attending the one-day meeting for discussions, exchanges, and training in the fields of information technology (IT) and e-commerce.

With the aim of improving the development of the country's IT industry and providing governmental departments with valuable advice, the forum is part of a nationwide promotion drive for IT industry and e-commerce.

Similar seminars will be sponsored by the Ministry of Information Technology in ten major Chinese cities including Shanghai, Wuhan, Nanjing, and Guangzhou.
