Wild Life Aid Center In NE China

A wildlife aid center has become the home to more than 1,000 animals.

The wildlife aid center in Daqing, in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, was run by Guo Yumin, a teacher of the Daqing Economic School.

Guo loves wildlife and has taught biology since graduating from the Biological Department at Harbin Teachers University in 1988.

He remembers every minute detail about the animals at the center, but may forget his own daughter's birthday. Influenced by his spirit of devotion to wildlife protection, the Daqing Economic School set aside more than 100,000 yuan to help build houses for these animals. And Quite a lot of volunteers often offer variety of services for the center.
