China Succeeds in Breeding Black Swans

Recently two baby black swans were born in Tazi Mountain of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. It's the first time that black swans are successfully bred under the natural ecological condition in China.

The two baby black swans were hatched by a female adult black swan for 35 days. Now, the two lovely seven-day-old fledglings swim alongside their mother.

As kind of rare birds, black swans mainly live in Australia and are hardly to hatch on the natural condition. At present, all the black swans of China are imported from Australia.
