China Opens Longest Domestic Air Line

China has opened its longest domestic air line, which stretches north-south from Jiamusi City in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, to Sanya City in the country's southernmost province of Hainan.

There will be two flights a week to cover a distance of 4,243 km. Jiamusi is a major commercial grain base and industrial center in northeast China and Sanya is well known as a coastal resort.

Meanwhile, another new air route between Jiamusi and Shenzhen in south China's Guangdong Province, went into operation, with four flights a week.
