A special army webpage was launched Tuesday to mark the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).
WWW.PLAPIC.COM.CN boasts four columns of the PLA Pictures, Greatwall Publishing House, Military Pictures Bank and Military Photographers.
The on-line version of the PLA Pictures, a monthly magazine, can be approached on the very first day by web surfers when it is published.
By clicking "Greatwall Publishing House", viewers are exposed to information on the newly published and specially recommended books.
Some 300,000 pictures of historic and military interests are stored in the Military Pictures Bank.
Meanwhile, well-known photographers and their works are also staged on the page.
