HK Police Classify Fire Incident as Arson

Hong Kong police Thursday classified as arson a fire incident which occurred at the Immigration Tower in Wan Chai Wednesday.

Four men and two women aged between 19 and 39 were arrested in connection with the case. They are still being detained for enquiries.

Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit, Hong Kong Island, are continuing.

The fire broke out inside a unit on the 13th floor of the Immigration Tower of Hong Kong around 06:00 p.m. Wednesday, causing 47 injured, including 23 staff members of the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.
