China to Join London Music, Dance Show

Chinese artists will take part in a large-scale music and dance show to be presented at the Millennium Dome in London, capital of the United Kingdom, on August 23.

This concert will be the third part of a cultural series named "Bravo China", which started in 1997 at the Hollywood Bowl in the United States, when top Chinese artists treated the audience to a live televised concert. It was described as "one of China's biggest and best overseas concerts ever" by the US critics.

Bravo China 2 - An All-Round Music and Dance Show, held in Kremlin in Moscow, also received resounding acclaim, as it reached millions of viewers.

This year's concert will include a number of first-class artists from both China and the UK, and former UK Prime Minister Edward Heath is expected to conduct the orchestra.

The organizers are CCTV, Shanghai Oriental TV and the Pegasus International Entertainment Company.
