Nationwide Fitness Table Tennis Invitational Tournament to Be Held in Hohhot
The first National Fitness Table Tennis Invitational Tournament will be held in Hohhot City from August 25 to 28.
This is a nationwide competition held by the Chinese Table Tennis Association to better implement the "Nationwide Fitness Program", which was promulgated by the State Council. It is also the first sports meet named "Nationwide Body-building". By then, more than 300 amateur players of 36 table tennis teams from 15 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shanxi, Qinghai, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia, will participate in the event.
It is said that the Preparatory Committee, composed of departmental leaders of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, Inner Mongolian Sports Federation and Inner Mongolian Table Tennis Association, has been founded. At present, busy preparations are under way.
