CPPCC Vice Chairman Meets Overseas Taiwan Entrepreneurs
Zhang Kehui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Friday with a visiting delegation of noted overseas Taiwan entrepreneurs.
In his talks with the delegation, headed by Rosano Yan, Zhang briefed the visitors about the economic situation in China and expressed his hopes that mainland entrepreneurs and companies would increase their cooperation with overseas Taiwan businessmen and enterprises.
The 16-member delegation has been visiting in China at the invitation of the Sub-committee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese of the CPPCC National Committee and the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots.
Before visiting Beijing, the overseas Taiwan businessmen delegation had toured northeastern Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces.
