China Has 17 Under-30 Professors

Seventeen under-30 professors are lately reported in China's higher education institutions, a thing totally unheard of, especially among those of the common run in the country's past. This is revealed by a countrywide placement of teachers staffing at a varied professional level throughout China since 1986.

By statistics at the end of 1999, 17 under-30 professors are known among 39,300 professors and 125,900 associate professors out of a teaching faculty of 425,600 in higher education institutions in China.
