Chinese Olympic Delegation Gets on Right Track

Yuan Weimin, head of the Chinese Olympic delegation, said the Chinese delegation has moved on the right track after four day's competition during an interview.

Yuan said everything is difficult at the start and that the Chinese Delegation has by themselves shown from the very beginning good psyche, good form and high morale.

Yuan also said all officers and coaches of the Chinese delegation must raise their level and art of leadership. It will be pointless if we do work in a simplified manner, not do it in a practical way, or not have strong pertinence in actual work. The key whether our athletes can set good records lies in the level of our work.

Yuan reminds Chinese athletes to keep clear-headed and guard against impetuosity in the events we have the strength to win. He said, in ping-pong and diving games there will be no advantages to speak of if our athletes give way to impatience. So the coaches must have a clear head about their athletes' psyche and emotion.
