Chinese and Vietnamese Ministers Hold Talks

Chinese Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Shi Guangsheng held talks with Vietnamese Minister of Industry Dang Vu Chu in Beijing Thursday.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade cooperation and other issues of common concern.

Shi said that economic and trade relations between the two countries have been developing smoothly in recent years with concerted efforts from both sides.

He said that there is still great potential to tap in the area, adding that he hopes the two countries will unite to promote economic ties.

Dang noted that he is satisfied with the momentum of the development in bilateral economic and trade relations.

He said that he agrees with Shi on furthering the cooperation.

Dang is in China on a working visit at the invitation of Shi.
