Nasdaq President Delivers Speech at SZSE on Second Board
Nasdaq International Company president John Wall recently delivered a speech with the subject of Nasdaq and China's Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) at Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In his speech, Mr. Wall emphatically introduced the experience and achievements of Nasdaq and gave his opinion on the development of China's GEM. He believes that China's GEM will meet excellent development opportunities but there still will be a long way to go to make it successful.
He said the success of a capital market should not be judged only by its trading volume and the ups and downs of indices, but, the most importantly, by its contribution to the development of the national economy.
Mr. Wall also expressed Nasdaq's intention to further cooperate with SZSE in information exchange, personnel training, experience communication and network technology, etc. (Panorama)
