Third Palestinian Teenager Shot Dead by Israeli Soldiers Thursday

A Palestinian teenager was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank city of Bethlehem Thursday evening, Palestinian sources said.

The boy, called Yazan al-Halaijah at age 15, was shot in the chest, the sources said.

Fifteen other Palestinians suffered bullet injuries during clashes with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Tal and Madaris districts, Khedr village, Bethlehem.

Al-Halaijah was the third Palestinian to be killed on Thursday.

On Thursday morning, Khaled Mohammed Ahmed, 17 years old, was shot dead in northeast Jerusalem. Another Palestinian youth at age 20 died of a bullet injury he sustained Wednesday evening during clashes with the IDF at Karni crossing point, Gaza Strip.
