During his visit, Wu met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Youssef Wali for talks on bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern.

The two sides spoke highly of the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and cooperation in various fields, voicing hope that the sustainable development of the two countries will bring about more opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation and trade.
