Tung Chee Hwa Met with Chinese Olympic Medallists
Tung Chee Hwa, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, received Chinese Olympic champions in Hong Kong on November 27. He presented a gold cup to the Olympians in congratulation on their high reward won from the Sydney Olympics.

Hong Kong will learn experiences from the State General Administration of Sports and China National Olympics Committee, said Tung Chee Hwa and hopes for raised sports level and strengthened ties by Hong Kong with the mainland. He also expressed his hope that Beijing will succeed in its bid for the 2008 Olympics and young people in Hong Kong are asked to learn from their mainland counterparts Olympic medallists.
