Vehicles Exported to Turkey

Chinese vehicle manufacturer, the Jiangling Auto Company (JAC), recently exported 380 vehicles to Turkey, including the largest truck export package in recent years, according to experts.

The exported vehicles, consisting of 280 light-trucks and 100 mid-sized passenger cars, were manufactured at the Turkish importer's request and cost a total of five million US dollars.

The high quality, high performance vehicles were designed to meet the clients' demands as well as the environmental standards set by the Europe Union, according to JAC.

The Turkish importer, the largest car dealer in Turkey, has been selling cars for 80 years. It has a nationwide sales network in Turkey and sells 60 million US dollars worth of cars annually.

JAC is a major vehicle manufacturer in China and its chassis for light passenger cars take up the largest market share in the country.

JAC's light trucks have seen a sales increase of 80 percent since 1997 and are exported to countries in Latin America and the Middle East.
