Chinese Refinery Reports Record Breaking Annual Oil Refining Volume
The Zhenhai Oil Refining Chemical Corp. Ltd. under Sino-Petrochem, in Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province, has refined 10 million tons of crude oil so far this year.
This means that the Hong Kong-listed corporation will be the first refinery in China that refines more than 10 million tons of crude oil in a year, sources said Monday, December 4.
The corporation is equipped with a 12-million-ton annual oil refining capacity and is China's largest refinery of sulphur-containing crude oil.
The corporation is expected to reap 20 billion yuan in sales revenue this year.
