Chinese Province to Build Squirrel Park

A squirrel park covering an area of over 20 mu (1.33 hectares) is to be built in east China's Zhejiang Province.

Consisting of several different parts, the park will display the behavior and different breeds of squirrels, as well as how to raise and train them.

According to the sponsors of the park, a squirrel stage and a squirrel market are also to be built in the park.

The park will be built in the scenic resort near the big gorge in Lin'an, where a vast number of squirrels as well as other wild animals, such as spotted deer and pangolins live.

The park will help visitors better understand nature and enhance their ecological awareness.

At present, there is one squirrel park in Australia, the only one worldwide.
