New Webpage to Be Launched to Promote Basic Law

A new web page is expected to be launched in Hong Kong to promote the Basic Law, according to officials from the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education.

The committee is keeping up with the trend by organizing a "Promoting the Basic Law Web Page Design Competition", aiming to encourage public participation in promoting the Basic Law and to apply their IT knowledge in civic education.

To better enhance the community's understanding of the Basic Law, the promotional web page both in Chinese and English in the form of texts, sound, animation or video will be targeted at different age groups of the local community, the officials said.
