Overseas Chinese Back Beijing's Olympic BidFive government offices dealing with overseas Chinese affairs held a reception Monday to call on overseas Chinese to give their support to Beijing's bid for the 2008 Olympic Games.Chairman of the Zhigong Party Luo Haocai said holding the Olympics will help Chinese nation to merge with the international community. He noted that China has seen a rapid growing economy and social progress, therefore, China is capable of hosting the Olympics.
