Identification of Corpses in Christmas Nightclub Fire
The corpses of all the 309 persons killed in theChristmas nightclub fire in Luoyang, central China, have been identified.
Investigations show that 285 of the people killed were local residents.
Over the past several days, hundreds of soldiers, officials and medics who were involved in the rescue work have been handling the identification and dressing the corpses at a local funeral parlor.
To date, some 306 corpses have been cremated or buried.
