Fujian to Hold 4th Across-Straits Textile Fair

The fourth Across-Straits Textile and Garment Fair is scheduled to be held in Shishi City in east China's Fujian Province from March 9 to 12.

Some 5,000 Chinese and overseas businessmen are expected to attend the fair. The exhibition center will house 1,000 booths, one fifth more than the figure for the previous session.

The fair will open special halls for products made in Taiwan, the Chinese mainland and other countries.

Seminars, fashion shows and related activities will be held in the course of the fair.

The fair is the only professional exhibition designed to promote exchanges among the textile and garment sectors on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

The previous three fairs attracted tens of thousands of traders from both home and abroad, gaining a transaction value of 2.4 billion yuan.
