Sina, Yahoo top popularity list in China - NetValue
Internet portals Sina.com and Yahoo! were the most popular websites for Internet users in Chinses mainland and Hong Kong in the month of December, according to global Internet measurement company NetValue.
According to China Daily report, NetValue's Top Properties and Domains for Asia Pacific Region Survey revealed that Sina.com was the most visited website for Chinese Internet surfers last month, followed by 163.com and Sohu.com, which ranked the second and third separately.
In Hong Kong, Yahoo.com won the top ranking, while Microsoft's Internet arm, msn.com and Hongkong.com ranked second and third, followed by Yahoo.com.hk and Pacific Century CyberWork's Netvigator.com.
Interestingly, Yahoo.com and msn.com were also the two most popular websites for Singaporean Net surfers last December. Passport.com and Singapore Telecom's Singnet.com.sg ranked the third and the fourth.
In Korea, local Internet portal Daum.net, together with Naver.com and Lacos.co.kr were ranked the three most popular websites.
