DPRK-Spain Diplomatic Ties Welcomed

China Thursday offered its welcome and support to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Spain.

China has always supported DPRK to improve its relations with all other countries in the world and to finally normalize bilateral relationship, said foreign ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao at the regular press conference when making comments on the matter.

The spokesman believed that the normalization of relations between the two countries would be conducive to the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and even the whole northeast Asia.
