Inland-HK "Chinese Linux 2000" OS Available

Two companies from China's inland and Hong Kong jointly introduced "Chinese Linux 2000" OS (operational system) on February 20 to break the monopolization of Microsoft, thereby establishing the "global multi-cultural general operational environment".

The new operational system is based on the Red Flag Linux operation system and supported by the newly established "Safe Numeral Internet Information Center" (SNIIC). The project aims to provide users with more choices to break the complexion that Microsoft leads the world information technology software industry, and to tap a huge market of information technology with a low cost on the basis of Linux in China and the whole world.

SNIIC, the newly established application platform, provides entity support to "Chinese Linux 2000". The management software of medium- and small-sized enterprises supplied by SNIIC, which is easy to learn and be widely used in many a varied sectors as purchasing, payment, merchandising, marketing, documents, accounting, report form and databank.
