China Condemns Acts of Glorifying Japan's Rule in Taiwan

China strongly condemned the acts of Taiwan independence advocators to glorify Japanese rule in Taiwan Friday.

An official with the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait (ARATS) said the book called "Taiwan Discourse" written by Japanese author Yoshinori Kobayashi has encountered strong condemnation from all Chinese people, especially the Taiwan compatriots ever since it was published.

Nevertheless, Hsu Wen-lung, a "Taiwan independence" advocator, acted in collusion with the Japanese right-wing forces to defend Japanese soldiers' ravage on women in Taiwan. It lays bare his nature to betray the Chinese nation and Taiwan people, the ARATS official said.

Hsu's acts make Taiwan people see more clearly that the position of Taiwan separatists comes down in one continuous line with the humble mind of feudatory, the official added.
