Beijing Financial Street lies to the east of the western section of 2nd Ring Road. It starts from Chang'an Avenue in the south and ends at Fuchengmennei Street in the north. Within the circumference of 1 square km, more than 10 skyscrapers have been erected on the street. Over 300 financial institutions including People's Bank of China, The People's Insurance Company of China, Commercial and Industrial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Communication Bank of China, China Securities Regulatory Commission, CITIC Industrial Bank are found in the street.

In the coming five years, Beijing government will continue to extend the street to accommodate more financial institutions.
