Seven Killed in Traffic Accident in Western China
Three men, three women and a boy were killed and two more people were seriously injured in a traffic accident Saturday in Helan County, in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The accident happened at 3:40 in the afternoon when a car and a farm truck collided head-on. The truck fell on top of the car which had crashed off the road, killing the seven in the car immediately.
The wounded, a driver and passenger of the farm truck, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, said the local police.
