China Northern Airlines Adds Flights for May Day Holiday

China Northern Airlines announced Thursday that it will add 139 flights from April 28 to May 9 during the upcoming week-long May Day holiday.

The efforts include eight international flight services linking the Chinese cities of Shenyang and Dalian with overseas destinations such as Sapporo and Busan. Four charted flights from Tokyo to Sanya will also be arranged.

Sources said that 57 domestic flights and 60 charted domestic flights will be available during the holiday period.

Northern Airlines will mainly focus on flight services linking the scenic spots of Kunming, Haikou, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Traveling during the long holidays of the Spring Festival, May Day and National Day has become a trend among many Chinese people.
