China Honors Ten Outstanding Young Judges
With the coming of Labor Day and China's Youth Day, the Supreme People's Court and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China held a ceremony Thursday in the Great Hall of the People to honor the Nation's Ten Outstanding Young Judges.

Before the meeting, Wei Jianxing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, met with the judges.

Luo Gan, a member of the Political Bureau and a state councilor, congratulated the judges on their hard work.

He said that the ten young judges symbolize the ethic of loyalty to the facts and the law and encouraged them to do their best to safeguard the impartiality of justice.

Xiao Yang, president of the Supreme People's Court, said that the honor for the ten young judges will help foster a sense of responsibility among all judges in the country.
