Shanghai Telecom Opens New IDC
Shanghai Telecom lately opened a new IDC (Internet Data Center)--Global IDC, to provide internet users with value-added services like the deposit of main machine, data back-up, Internet security and management.
Along with the upgrading and popularity of IT and Internet technology, more and more enterprises have begun to "touch the net" in order improve their operational efficiency. However, many enterprises are often plagued by the lack of professionals to engage in network construction and maintenance management. It was against this background that IDC service has come into being. Besides traditional data trust, IDC has also made available such application services as network security, maintenance and management, which can provide said enterprises a package of overall solutions.
