Four Foreign Ministers to Visit China

Foreign Ministers of four countries will visit China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan, Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi announced Tuesday.

They are Denmark's Foreign Minister Mogens Lykketoft, Belgian Vice Premier and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and International Cooperation Louis Michel, Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Pique I Camps, and Prince Haji Mohamed Bolkiah, Foreign Minister of Brunei.

They will visit China from May 19 to 31, prior to and after the ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) Foreign Ministers' Meeting, Sun told a regular press conference.

During the visits, Tang will hold talks respectively with the above-mentioned foreign ministers of the four countries and have an extensive and in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relations and other important international issues of common interest, the spokesman said.
