Haier Enters Global Top Ten Appliance Giants
The newly published third issue of American magazine Appliance listed the global top ten household electrical appliance manufacturers.
Haier Group, ranking ninth, is the only Chinese enterprise to enter the top ten, which symbolized Chinese company has leapt to the first rank of home appliance enterprises in the world.
Other top ten appliance giants include Whirlpool, Electrolux, GE, Panosonic, Siemens, Sharp, Toshiba and Hitachi.
Haier's growth from a small-sized loss-making collective-run firm into a large trans-regional, trans-sector and transnational modern enterprise group is mainly due to its innovative management. Haier's "market link" management model has won the top national corporate management innovation prize.
