Chinese Companies' Listing Welcomed in UK

British business authorities lately extended their warm welcome and called for more Chinese companies to be listed in the UK so that greater financial cooperation is to be developed between the two countries.

A fact worth noticing was that PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the world's largest professional services organization, had earlier sent a delegation to attend Beijing's 4th Hi-Tech International Week closed on May 15. PwC declared that it has studied the prospects of Chinese companies to get listed in London Bourse and other foreign stock markets in Europe and problems on economic globalization, international and China's investment environment when expressing the hope more Chinese companies go listing in the UK.

PwC's president said that under current situation of economic globalization, raising funds from world markets has become a global trend. According to him, to go listing in London Bourse has such advantages:

1. London Bourse is one of the world's most important, with a long history and perfect management.

2. To list in London Bourse can just make up the time gap between the Wall Street and Tokyo Bourses.

3. Compared with other international bourses, London Bourse poses less risk

4. Compared with the US bourse, to list in London Bourse costs less for it issues companies' reports every half a year.

5. London Bourse has been run with a perfect retail market.

It is reported altogether six Chinese companies have listed in the London Bourse so far.
