Premier Zhu Arrives in Thailand
Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji arrived in Bangkok at 14:50 pm local time Saturday for a four-day official visit to Thailand at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Zhu received a warm welcome at the Air Force Airport from Thai Deputy Prime Minister Pongpol Adireksarn and Minister of the Prime Minister's Office Somsak Thepsuthin.

Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Yan Ting-ai, staff of the Chinese Embassy to Thailand, as well as representatives of Chinese students, Chinese businessmen and Thai Chinese also greeted Zhu at the airport.
