Central Television to Move into CBD

China Central Television Station will move into the Central Business District (CBD) of Beijing, according to the report of Beijing Morning Post, June 5.

CCTV has signed a 1.4bn yuan letter of intent with Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (BAIC). In accordance with the letter of intent the Beijing United Automobile-Motorcycle Manufacturing Corporation (BAM) will move out of the present site, Guanghua Road of Beijing.

Now BAM is making preparation for the moving in order to clear out the factory area of 180,000 square meters next year.

As reported, future buildings designed for CBD will mainly be deluxe hotels, office buildings and apartments.
