Photo Exhibition of China's Inner Mongolia Showcased in Sydney

A photo exhibition for showing the beautiful grassland of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been lately opened in Sydney. With nearly 100 photos being shown, the exhibition expresses the great achievements scored in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region since China carried out the policy of reform and opening up, and the beautiful landscape and traditional culture, rites and customs of the ethnic people on horsebacks in this region.

Cross-Straits Long-distance Running Team Arrives at Nanjing

June 25 saw the Cross-Straits long-distance running team arrive at Nanjing and run with over 2,000 Nanjing citizens for supporting Beijing's 2008 Olympic bid. Started from Taipei on June 16, the team will arrive at the terminal Beijing on June 30 having traversed many cities as Kaohsiung, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi, Nanjing, and Qingdao. Henan Put up Large Ecological Aquatic Farm for Fish & Duck

A high-effective ecological aquatic farm for fish and duck has been lately completed in Weshi County of Henan Province. As the largest of its kind in the province this farm is able to raise 450,000 ducks and drakes, and the yearly lay of eggs comes to 650,000 kilograms. In the meanwhile the yearly fish-catch is 150,000 kilograms. The multi-purpose way of breeding, which can not only reduce the cost, but also increase the income, has offered an exemple for the development of ecological agriculture.
