Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will meet Friday with Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid who will be in the country for a one-day working visit.

Philippine presidential spokesman Rigoberto Tiglao said in a press briefing that the two presidents would meet in the presidential palace at 11:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) Friday.

Tiglao said that after their luncheon meeting, President Arroyo would accompany Wahid to the airport.

During the meeting, Tiglo added, the two presidents are expected to discuss how relations between their two countries could be improved.

"No agreement is expected to be signed," Tiglao said, adding that "the agenda is not that rigid."
