Former Yugoslav President Handed Over to War Crimes Tribunal
Former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic has been handed over to officials of the Hague- based U.N. war crimes tribunal Thursday, a government spokesman confirmed.

Spokesman Nemanja Kolesar said, "The former Yugoslav president was handed over The Hague tribunal."

The confirmation of Milosevic's handover came just a few hours after the Yugoslav Constitutional Court suspended a government decree which allows the extradition.
